In this half-day session, we continue our analysis of the land disposal restrictions and build on the concepts introduced on Day 4. Group discussion and problem-solving techniques are used to gain insight into these complex regulations. We also review any recent changes in the regulations and provide a summary of major rules under development to help you evaluate how RCRA may affect your operations in the future.

Treatment standards for listed wastes
Rules for applying characteristic codes to listed wastes
Alternatives for managing hazardous soil under the LDR program
Managing hazardous debris
Lab packs
Treatability variances
Rules for determining if dilution is allowable
Significant rule changes in the past two years
Major RCRA rules under development.
