Q.
Where will
the seminars be held?
A. Our
seminars are held at various locations
throughout the country. We personally select conference quality
hotels to ensure a comfortable learning environment.
Q. What
does my registration fee cover?
A. Your
registration fee covers all course materials, books, continental
breakfasts and group lunches. It does not cover your travel expenses
or hotel accommodations.
Q. How
do I confirm my registration?
A. If
you've registered more than one week prior to the seminar, you should
have received in the mail a seminar packet that contains your confirmation
number. If you register less than one week prior to the seminar,
this material should have been faxed to your attention. If you have
not received the material or have any questions about your registration,
please contact us at 303-526-2674.
Q. What
should I wear?
A. Dress
is casual. The temperature in the meeting room may vary, so make sure you bring a sweater or jacket
to ensure your personal comfort.
Q. Can
I purchase the course notes and books used in the training?
A. We
use two books, McCoy's RCRA Reference
and McCoy's RCRA Unraveled,
in our seminars. Both books are available for sale. See our publications
page for details. The seminar course notes are not sold separately.
Q. What
time does each session begin and end?
A. 7:00
a.m. to 8:30 a.m. - Continental Breakfast each morning
8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. - Training (Mon.-Thurs.; Lunch provided)
8:00 a.m. to 12 noon - Training (Friday; No lunch provided)
Q. What
is your cancellation policy?
A. We
know that last minute emergencies do occur, so please call us as
soon as your plans change. You can transfer to another seminar with
no penalty or receive a refund. You also can substitute another
person to attend in your place. If your plans for attendance change
in any way, it is important that you advise us as soon as possible
so that we can make the necessary adjustments.

we received your payment?
A. If
you have any questions regarding payment, please call us at 303-526-2674.
If you paid by credit card, your credit card slip is attached to
your paid invoice which is included in your seminar packet.
Q.
Do you offer
group discounts?
A. Multiperson
discounts are available at two qualifying levels: 5-9 people from the same organization and location attending
the same seminar receive a 10% discount; and 10 or more people from the same organization and location attending
the same seminar receive a 25% discount. The discount is provided in the form of a refund after the seminar has

Q. Do
you offer continuing education units (CEUs), or continuing legal
education (CLE) credits?
A. Yes,
we do. Details...
Q.
Are you accredited by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene?
A. Yes,
the five-day seminars and the refresher course are accredited
by the ABIH.
Q. Do
McCoy seminars satisfy EPA's RCRA training requirements?
A. Not entirely. Our seminars provide a
comprehensive review of the RCRA regulations and many of our attendees have told us that they use our seminars to satisfy their annual
RCRA training requirement.
However, a close reading of the RCRA regulations pertaining to training [262.34(d)(5)(iii) and 265.16] indicates that some portion of
an individual's RCRA training will have to be site-specific. For example, 265.16(a)(3) requires training on site-specific emergency
procedures, equipment, and systems that we cannot cover in our training class. In addition, most facilities have a contingency plan
covering their hazardous waste management areas, and they must train their personnel to respond in accordance with that contingency
plan. Our seminars definitely help people understand and comply with RCRA. However, we believe some site-specific training is also
necessary to satisfy EPA's RCRA training requirements.
Q. Does
McCoy's RCRA training satisfy OSHA HAZWOPER requirements?
A. No. We are RCRA specialists and
do not cover OSHA issues.
Q. Does
McCoy and Associates, Inc. provide other environmental training
in addition to RCRA?
A. Not
at the present time.

Is there a test?

Is there homework?

What happens if McCoy and Associates cancels a seminar?
A.
We've been presenting RCRA seminars nationwide since 1990 and have
never had to cancel a course.
Q.
Can I contact the instructors with RCRA questions after the seminar?
A.
Our professional staff is available to any attendee who has RCRA
questions after the seminar. Either call us at 303-526-2674 or e-mail

Q.
Can I transfer to another seminar after I have already registered?
A.
We can easily transfer you to another seminar or, if necessary,
let you designate another person to take your place. Please let
us know as soon as possible so we can make the changes to the name
tags, roster sheet, etc.
Q.
What if I have an emergency and need to leave the seminar?
A.
We understand that emergency situations do arise and will make every
effort to work with you by either refunding the cost of the days
you did not attend or by arranging your transfer to another seminar.
Q.
Can I purchase the books now and have that amount deducted from
the seminar cost?
A.
No. Our two publications are part of our seminar packages and necessary
for the courses. Our past experience has shown that attendees sometimes
forget to bring their prepaid books with them which makes it very
difficult to follow along. We think this is the best way to ensure
that each attendee maximizes his/her learning experience.

Do you offer classes in Spanish?
A.
Not at this time.

Do you offer online courses?
A.
Not at this time.

Do you offer in-house or onsite seminars?
A.
We are available for scheduling either a two-day or three-day in-house
seminar.
Q.
My office needs to be able to reach me at all times, and I need
to know if it is okay to bring my cell phone or pager?
A.
General courtesy rules apply to our seminars. We request that attendees set their cell phones and pagers on the vibrate mode
and leave the room while talking on the phone.
Q.
I have dietary restrictions. Will this be a problem for the group
lunches?
A.
Our instructors ask that anyone with dietary restrictions contact
them each morning of the seminar. We work with the hotels to make
sure special lunches will be provided whenever necessary.
Q.
If I lose my certificate can you provide me with another copy?
A.
Since we keep records of our attendees and the days attended,
we will be able to replace your certificate. To expedite our search,
please let our office staff know when and where you attended.
Hotel / Seminar Site Information
Q. Do
I have to stay at the listed hotel in order to attend the seminar?
A. No,
but we personally select hotels we think you'll find appealing.
We also work with the hotel to provide a group discount rate provided
you register by the cutoff date listed in
our schedule. We think you'll enjoy the convenience of staying
at the seminar site and value the opportunity to interact with other
attendees after the sessions.
Q. Does
McCoy and Associates make my hotel reservations?
A. No.
We provide you with the hotel phone number
and group discount rate.
Q. Can
you help me find alternate hotels near the seminar site?
A. Please
call us at 303-526-2674 and we will try to assist you.
Q. Does
the hotel accept government per diem rates?
A. In
most cases, the hotels have set aside a limited number of rooms
at government per diem rates. They are available on a first come,
first served basis for reservations made prior to the hotel reservation
cutoff date.
Q. Does
the hotel provide free parking?
A. It
varies by hotel.
Q. How
far is the hotel from the airport?
A. Your
registration packet contains a map. For specific
information, please call the hotel.
Q. Do
I need a rental car or is a hotel shuttle available to and from
the airport?
A. For
specific transportation information, please
call the hotel.
Q.
Are your seminars held at the same locations and hotels each year?
A.
Our locations and hotels may change from year
to year. New locations, hotels, and dates are announced on our web
site as soon as arrangements are finalized.
Q.
Can you provide directions from the airport to the hotel site?
A. Generally,
you can get the best directions by contacting the hotel directly.
Once registered, each attendee receives a packet that includes a
hotel brochure which usually has a map. If you need our help, just
contact us at 303-526-2674 and we will try to provide you with adequate
information.
Books/CDs
Q.
Are there quantity discounts?
A.
Yes, we provide quantity discounts to all
orders shipped to the same address.
Q.
Is my book/CD order subject to sales tax?
A.
All books/CDs shipped to Colorado addresses are subject to 7.6% sales
tax.
Q.
Can I order a book/CD on approval?
A.
All book/CD orders must be prepaid or secured by a purchase order.

book/CD for a complete and immediate refund.
Q.
How do I pay for my book/CD?
A. All book/CD
orders must be prepaid or secured by a purchase order. We accept
checks, and VISA, MasterCard and American Express credit cards.
Q.
How soon will I receive my book/CD order?
A. We normally
ship from our office within two business days of receiving your
order. Single CDs are shipped USPS; all other book/CD orders are shipped via UPS Ground; shipping time varies
depending upon destinations. Please feel free to contact us anytime
at 303-526-2674 to check on the status of your order.

What forms of shipping are available?
A. Book/CD orders
must be prepaid or secured by a purchase order. Price includes complimentary
UPS Ground shipping (USPS for single CD orders) within the Continental U.S. Please allow one
week from date of shipping for delivery. For book/CD orders shipped
outside the Continental US, an additional charge of $10.00 per book
or $17.00 per set (RCRA Reference/RCRA Unraveled combination)

How often do you update your books/CDs?
A. McCoy's
RCRA Reference, McCoy's

Are there sample pages of your publications I can review?
A. Yes. Take a

What's on the CD?
A.
McCoy's RCRA Compliance CD contains the full text of
McCoy's RCRA Reference and McCoy's
RCRA Unraveled with extensive hyperlinking and other features that take advantage of
the electronic format. The User's Guide and
sample pages from the CD can be downloaded in PDF format.

May I share the CD with others?
A.
You may not make copies of McCoy's RCRA Compliance CD or its contents other than for backup
purposes. However, you may share the CD like you would share a book (i.e., only one person may use it at a time).
Q.
May I copy the CD?
A.
You may not make copies of McCoy's RCRA Compliance CD or its contents other than for backup
purposes. Generally, you must purchase one copy of the CD for each user or purchase a LAN or WAN network license.
Q.
May I share the CD over my company's network?
A.
You must purchase a LAN or WAN network license and obtain instructions from McCoy and Associates, Inc. in order to
share McCoy's RCRA Compliance CD on your network.
Q.
May I share the CD on a network that extends beyond my company?
A.
No. LAN and WAN licenses are limited to use within your company or organization.

How do I solve problems opening or using the CD?
A.
