PFAS Analytic Tools

EPA is gathering data on per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) manufacturers, releases, and occurrences in communities. The PFAS Analytic Tools is a collection of data used to evaluate what is known about PFAS. This data is publicly available and collected nationally, supplemented with data from states, tribes, and other localities testing for PFAS. This tool incorporates an interactive map of the United States and its territories and employs multiple filters to customize the data set users are viewing.

Via data from the Enforcement and Compliance History Online (ECHO) website, PFAS Analytic Tools contains information on any PFAS data, the tools available to analyze the data, the source of the data, and guides on how to use the tools. The data is sourced from drinking water testing, ambient environmental sampling, Clean Water Act discharge monitoring, spill data, and more. The user guide for the PFAS analytical tools is a step-by-step walkthrough of how to use the interactive map and apply filters. Recorded training on using the PFAS analytical tools and a list of frequently asked questions (FAQs) are also available on EPA’s ECHO website.
