RCRAInfo registration required.

Large and small quantity generators (LQGs and SQGs) must use a hazardous waste manifest when shipping their hazardous wastes offsite. Under the third e-manifest rule [89 FR 60692], effective January 22, 2025, LQGs and SQGs must register for a RCRAInfo account to obtain signed and dated copies of completed manifests from the e-Manifest system. [§262.20(a)(1), revised section will not be visible in the eCFR until January 22, 2025] Each site will need someone to have an account with site manager or certifier permissions. EPA recommends each generator register at least two employees as site managers.

Information on how to register may be found on EPA’s e-Manifest User Registration page. To check your site's status, the agency also has lists of LQG and SQG sites without a site manager or certifier, so make sure none of your sites are on the list. For additional requirements from the rule that are effective January 22, 2025, visit the e-Manifest Third Rule page, and for additional compliance morsels, visit our website.
